Practice Real Clinic Workflows 

This online self-led course helps learners build confidence using Jane App, a practice management platform used in many allied health, wellness, and multidisciplinary clinics.

Learners receive two full months of access to the training environment so they can explore workflows, repeat activities, and build comfort using clinic software before interviews, placements, onboarding, or returning to practice.

Course Description

This self-led course provides hands-on training in a Jane App simulation environment. Learners complete guided exercises covering patient intake, appointment scheduling, chart documentation, patient communication, and simulated third-party billing using TELUS eClaims.

Learners receive two full months of access to the software so they can revisit tasks, repeat workflows, and strengthen their confidence at their own pace.

Enrollment includes access to technical support, academic support, and weekly live Q&A sessions with our trainers.

A receipt is issued upon enrollment, and a Certificate of Completion is awarded after successful completion of the course.

Evaluation: this course is not graded and does not include a formal assessment

• Enter and manage patient information in Jane App
• Create and send digital intake forms
• Schedule patients for assessments and appointments

• Communicate with patients using messaging tools
• Submit simulated third-party billing using TELUS eClaims
• Navigate common clinic workflows with greater confidence


Suggested Course Outline

Estimated time: approximately 25 hours

Create a username and password and log in

Create a digital intake form

Create a patient profile

Simulate sending an intake form to a patient

Book a patient for a new assessment

Add chart notes to the patient record

Submit a simulated third-party bill using TELUS eClaims

Learners may revisit modules and repeat workflows throughout their two-month access period.
