SIM Expo 2024

This year, Choice EMR Learning was proud to be represented at SIM Expo 2024 in beautiful Banff, Alberta. Founder Laura Keast had the opportunity to reconnect with leaders across the simulation community and engage in important conversations about the role of simulation, education, and advocacy in strengthening healthcare training. 🌄 At Choice EMR Learning, we are launching a next-generation EHR simulation platform designed to reflect how electronic health records are actually used in practice. Our simulations are developed in close collaboration with experienced healthcare professionals and focus on real workflows, documentation accuracy, and system logic. Our EHR Simulation allows learners to work through realistic patient scenarios and operational tasks, helping them to: ✅ Practice workflows they will encounter in real healthcare environments ✅ Receive guided support and feedback to build confidence and competence ✅ Learn within a structure that aligns seamlessly with academic curricula ✅ Benefit from evolving features that enhance learning and decision support ✅ Train using simulations designed to mirror real-world clinical and administrative use ✅ Flex between EMR and EHR experiences based on specific program needs We’re excited to share what’s ahead and will be rolling out updates and preview opportunities as the platform expands. Stay tuned for upcoming sessions and announcements as we move into the next phase of release.
